Rep Power: 4  | Am I a true Romantic? I wrote these over time... some old, some new... they'll probably make you sick but here goes... Not much structure or form and they barely rhyme but thats just me

Our eyes meet for the first time Hers wild like fire Mine cold like stone Does she realise Does she understand Only in my heart Can I feel Can I see Can I know The sadness which I am destined to suffer At the hands of those who wish to tear us apart Will it be our love that destroys us Is it impossible to ever know How can I ever find the truth When our love is a lie Will she allow me to see Or will she tear out my broken heart When her smile lights her eyes Like a burning blaze I become less of a man And more of a shadow Hidden in the distance I long for her to see me as I truly am I long to remain froever in her embrace (I never said they all had happy endings  )
