Blokes make life hard work and this pretty much sums them up, never met one yet that can hold his own
Simple
I don't understand them
Don't think i ever will
But guys seem to elude me
And i always foot the bill.
It's my love that's always taken
And my heart that's always broke
I can never see what's happening
Just like with a screen of smoke.
I don't know if i push them away
Or if they leave of their own accord
If I'm just too much for them
Or really i make them bored.
Are there signals there to read
Which i can't clearly see
Is it that it's of another tongue
Which i've never been taught to speak.
I try to understand them
I really think i try
They want a friend to hang with
That's not another guy.
They want a girl to be with
As long as she doesn't get too close
They want you to call them
But not when they don't?
The decisions are always mine to make
They want to show they are a gent
Then get put out by what you choose...
I wish they'd just get bent!
I want a guy with courage
A guy with lots of heart
Someone who knows what he wants in life
And wants me to play a part.
I'm tired of trying to please them
