Rep Power: 15    |  Milfy's Heading West....... G’day Everyone, I’m heading to West Australia in a couple of weeks……. And I’m bloody excited! I’m leaving Vic on Sep 12th and hope to be back by the 19th/20th Sep. I’m driving across and I’m looking at doing the touristy thing…. Does anyone have any places they recommend to visit in between here and Perth? Or any tips for crossing the Nullarbor and good roadhouses to call into? I’m planning to head to the York Hotel in Kal on the Fri night, Inseminators B&S Ball on the Sat night and the OBH on the Sun. On Monday I reckon I might have a lookie around Perth and start to head back later that arvo. I'm really looking forward to catching up with as many Beautute members as I can.... So if you see a white crewman with a 5 post bullbar, Vic plates and a pink aerial make sure you come uip and say G'day!

Rep Power: 3 | Re: Milfy's Heading West....... eymilfy i'd recommend some stuff to do in WA but you won't have time by that schedule. On the Nullarbor - def stop at the cliffs and get some pics (don't go too close to the edge or you'll miss the BNS)... Ceduna in SA has great oysters if you like em .... you have to stop at the border of WA and SA and camp the night for the fun (generally very windy so tie it all down) .... Belladonia roadhouse is a good rest stop.... don't get bored on the straight section inside the WA border cos it gets tiring after a while... Watch out for wedge tail eagles on the highway between ceduna and norseman - they are enormous and can't get going fast so you need to give way... good truck stop at Norseman.... check out Lake Lefroy lookout in Kambalda if you have a few minutes.. Kalgoorlie - you gotta do Hay Street, Superpit and so on.... Just a few suggestions... I have more if you are bored!!  Have a good trip!

Rep Power: 4 | Re: Milfy's Heading West....... Having done the Nullabor trip a number of times in both cars and trucks, all I can say is if you see some headlights in the distance get the stop watch out and time how long it takes for them to get to you. Freaky stuff mate.
