Corrigin Dog In A Ute 2008 (WA)

Hey Guys,

Was talking to a mate involved in Apex in Corrigin, and apparently they are planning to run another Dog in a ute comp, (even though WA still holds the record). But they are thinking it wont be till next April 2008.
Should do it for this one hey, any excuse for a get together and some Rums.

I can't wait for it. I haven't been but dad's got the DVD and everything and my bf said it was great, so i really wanna go!

yer likewise. I didnt have a ute the last couple of times and also had work commitments. Don't know how the crowd will go as they arent trying to break the record now.

my first dog in a ute and itll be my dogs first too just gotta get a decent looking soft cover and roll bar on me ute so he can ride in the back

yeah it was huge in 05, when i went. i didnt have my ute at the time... i cant remember much expect it was really cold!!

Was great the last year, and they didn't break their own record then either.

I don't really remember the cold too much... or a hell of a lot of the night, but I tell ya what, you sober up pretty quickly when you walk out to hit the hay and find your ute (Well Mum and Dad's Pootrol! Didn't have mine at the time either) gone... and yes it was the ute gone, not me lost!
I jumped in a ute every second row to get on the 2way and find out if anyone had seen it and to swear at my mate who shifted it!!
Low and behold 10mins later a sleepy Northstar (ha ha thought I'd point out another member!) comes over the 2way to tell me my utes on the other side of the oval!

Yeh the esperance crew will definitely be there for this one again. we got 35 utes from down here and had an absolute ball. Will be taking the pooch of course as it will be his first one. can't wait. A little birdy tells me we'll start hearing about it from july onwards and advertising will be more than in previous years. So let's make the next one huge.
