Again thanks to all that turned up on the day, as you can tell from the results judging was not an easy task so many great utes with really close results!
We are pleased to announce that we infact raised $1000 on the day for our nominated charities Rididng for the Disabled and our local CFA!

Sam what about Best Original Ute.. I saw a few 9's on the judges sheet when he was judging mine (not that I was sneaking a look mind you :p )

I only missed Best Town Ute by 3 points too... any way of finding out what I lost points for?

Ash, again you only missed out by 1 point for a placing, one thing the judges said after the event that the standard of the utes was amazing and at times very hard to pick a winner from.
In regards to the Town ute catagory you didnt lose points as such but from the judging sheets it came down to overall presentation and aftermarket accessories; in which your ute was one point behind the placegetters in these sections. That said it does come down to the individual judge who is marking the catagories as the overall presentaion section is an outlet for the judge to have a personal opinion whereas the other sections are more structured. But yes you did get a few 9's on your sheet...not that you were sneaking a peek!!!

Thanks Sam, it gives me a good idea for the next time. The other thing is that the judging was well done and fair... and EVERY ute was judged.
