pakenham truck and ute show 15 march

hey all seen a sign on the freeway the other day for the pakenham truck and ute show on the 15 march at the pakenham racecoarse. thats all i know, personally wont be there as of family commitments. just thought id post it incase no one knew about this cheers rick.

I'd love to make it but I'm running the Town & Country Ute Show in Epping the next day. Pencil me in at this stage cos I might be right to get there.

Maybe...... was thinking about Wodonga this day.... but Pakenham sounds better coz it's got the trucks as well..... lets see if I can get the Pete's brought down as well

WELL I WILL SAY THIS TO EVERYONE THIS YEAR THE UTE SHOW WILL NOT BE ON AS TROYDANN CAN NOT DO IT.

THE SIGNS ARE WRONG THEY MAST HAVE NOT BEEN TOLD ABOUT IT.
I WILL TALK TO TROY ABOUT THIS TONIGHT AND FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING ON.

UNLESS SOMEONE ELSE IS DOING IT THERE WILL BE NO UTE SHOW AT ALL.

Ok, Here is the gos.

I will not be running the Pakenham ute show this year due to personal comittments. Associated Towing are running a Truck and ute show as they used to. This Truck and ute show was the reason i started my own as the SO CALLED committee is made up of 4 people that mostly deal with trucks. This is also the reason why i didn't run a truck and ute show and moved away from the trucks. The first year i ran the ute show side was a nightmare. The truck people have no idea about the bns utes and they allow the judges and committee to enter therew own utes.

I had alot of problems with them the first year and after alot of thort i decided to move the ute show away from the truck show due to there interfearance.

the second year of the ute show that i ran was great and got alot of praise. Clearly a good choice to relocate the ute show.

Yep you did run a bloody good show Adam and it sounds like people are much better off heading to the Epping Town & Country Ute Show the following day, which is run and judged by ute people and organisers/judges will NOT be entering their own utes.

Sorry folks but I'll be at the grand prix for this one.... still thinking about Epping though.

Personally I like the utes & trucks to have the same shows, as I'm into both, but obviously the judges should not enter their own vehicles, and the categories ought to have their own judges seperate from the other, according to their knowledge/expertise whether it be trucks or utes
