| Re: End of the Bitumen Ute Club [quote=fuzzyevil1;158239]Speaking of utes can anyone reccommend a good brand of GPS/Sat Nav?quote] I've been using a Pioneer AVIC S2 since December and have no real complaints. They retail for a decent chunk less than with alot of the same features as more the expensive Tom-Tom & NavMan's. Bluetooth enabled, text-to-speech, map upgrades (optional) every 12-18 months and only about $140 to upgrade them, over 10000 POI. MP3 player built in, removable memory card, and most importantly; accurate maps and street numbers!! Only issue I've experienced is a few unexpected run errors in which event it switches off then back on and continues with the planned route. Overall a pretty solid little unit, good features like different transport methods, road/route avoidances and an easy to use interface. AVIC - Pioneer Electronics Australia (and no, I don't work for Pioneer!)

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Re: End of the Bitumen Ute Club well fuzzz calving is rocking lost one cow to her lying the rong way on a hill and rolling over which means that she suffocateds on her own stumach contents and it runs back down her throught and she cant breath, but you get that and have only had two calves born dead so we are flying well and truly we ranked number five out of 401 farms supplying the leongatha factory with our milk quaility and our names will be on the newsletter so am absolutely stoked over that and no soner than i got that fax i then got a phone call from the vets saying that all our cows tested negative to jhones desiese and all our selling restrictions have been removed so i can now sell cows through the sale yards at koonwarra again which is awsome. Our milk production is getting more by the day and the milk prices are up on last years records so really going to be rakeing in the dow this year. Have had some trouble with the new ute it did a starter motor but luckely I was parked next door to a mechanic in Korumburra and he had a change over one on the shelf. Though when we started it it made a loud clunking noise then stoped and it was right for a couple of days and then the noise started again and wouldnt go away. Turns out that the fly wheel cover under the car was of a vb-vk commodore and was ocasionally slaping against the crank shaft so borowed tha mechanics hoist and angle grinder and attacked it problem solved also saw taurus 2 at the same time and have worked out that if i undid another 24 bolts 6 screws and lifted of the gaurds nose cone seats and removed the taill gate and carpet i would have a rolling shell there is absolutely nothing left of the engine bay at all, all the brake lines fuel lines have been removed the engine gear box tail shaft are all out and the wiring is all bveen pocked back throught the firewall and is lying on the floor. Ihave to go down to the mecahnics on tuesday and rub the engine bay back so it can be painted. Good to hear that your knees are getting better. To desert storm well done on buying your first ute! And to bec hope te holiday is going well.
