I have a new set of wheels....rofl....

Well i spose its about time to say something...Some on here know me and some know about this.....

I got my new wheels this week, well legs, what ever....

I have finally got into a wheel chair, has taken me 20 yrs to accept one, and it took another 8 weeks to actually get it...
I have avoided even sitting in one till now, use to have arguments whenever i would go to hospital, as to me it was like being a defitist if i sat in one, but it has finally got to this stage and i am accepting it...next week i get a hoist fitted to the ute for lifting it, as my 8 yo son has to get it in and out for me at the moment, i can do it but boy is it hard...lol...
I can still walk and stand but not very far or for very long, and for doing things in the morning, it has been pretty hard, so now i dont have to stand much and thats already making life easier...only been out in public with it once, and that was to the hospital, but tomorrow i have shopping to do so will be around the town for my first time...
I got off road wheels fitted to it, so will not have too much problems at the paddock if i need to use it, and the ute goes everywhere anyway, even out in to the paddock(fingers crossed i dont bog the ute, will be fun getting that out..lol..)..
I know the two horses i have here think the chair is interesting, they both licked it all over...rofl...
Anyway, this little black duck aint down yet, just got a new lease of life...rofl...

good onya mate. whatever keeps you movin. i have a brother who is disabled and as he went to a school for disabled i have met some wonderfull kids who have to live in wheelchairs. they make it look easy but i have trouble controlling them. theres nothing wrong with needing to use one mate.

anyway hope you dont have too much grief with it.
