202 exhaust note

gday, i've got a blue 202 with a single system n extractors, it then drops out behind the diff. it sounds pretty good now but im afta a back crackle and making it louder. i am thinkin bout gettin a hotdog put in then splitin it in 2 a twin system at the rear end wit 3" tips. does ne1 no if this will sound good, also how much this would be around. n if u hav ne othe ideas 2 make me ute sound mean! cheers

a mate of mine had 2.5inch, extractors with 10 inch dog and 3.5 inch tip, loud yes, crackle yes, drooooone god yes!!!

I reckon u should go for a 2.5 ichs system, 9 inch hotdog, and the twin 4inch tips on either side of the ute, under the tailgate, now that would really cracckle and loud, but it depeds on how far you want to be over the 83dB limit and how good you are at avoiding the boys in blue

well i want it 2 sound more like a v8, n truthfuly i dnt care if i get it attracts the boys in blue coz im only 16 so i dnt drive it everyday. but i want somthing that turns heads. how much over r we talking bout sharpy? will it still have a nice note?

yeah i honestly dont know how higher dB it will do, but i recomend going to an exhaust specialisit, and just asking around

what i said before will do the job nicely, but maybe not the 4inch tips, most of this sort of work is trial and error, so someone with lots more experience than me can tell you more.

Ive got a 186 in my ute and its got 2inch system, 9 inch dog, and 1 single 6inch stack, it doesent sound like a v8 untill you sway the spark pugs( i dont advise you do that on a smooth running motor)
