How much Fuel does your Ute use?

I am currently looking for a manual VY or VZ commodore Ute just the s pac. I want to get something that is going to use less fuel than what i use now. Ive been told that doing the amount of travelling to Perth that i do that a ute would be more fuel efficient than my xtrail. I use a tank of fuel to get to perth and it has a 65L tank. and its 400 odd kms to perth.

How much fuel do u guys all go through with your utes?

Too much!

But then again, I've never actually filled her up..so don't even know what she would take.
I tend to use the gas alot more lately.

it cost me about 100 dollars to fill my xr8 but i get about 650kms out of a tank when i'm driving around town. on the open road i get about 730km out of a tank, so it not that bad i guess

I average 550 + ks to a tank in the Commodore if i fill it with BP Ultimate less if its filled with normal Unleaded Just a footnote the ute is serviced every 10.000 Ks due to the amount of driving that i do

I run a 2.5L 4cyl diesel ute (triton 4wd dual cab) and i get roughly 500ks a tank- suburbia and open roads. When youre looking at $80 a tank, its pretty damn expensive.

in my old girl ford xf I get about 600km for $80 to fill her up

i have a 3l hilux and get bout 560kms on 70l out of a 77l tank around town and on open highway doesn't really matter with the hilux cause it has a top speed of 110 doind over 3grand so pretty thirsty. But my old vs was a v6 and i only got out of 60l around 500km max and thats pushing it but again open speed limtis up here can push it a bit harder sit on 150 160 most the way on the highway around town was shocking only got bout 350 to 400 for 60l.

i have an XH Falcon and get probably 600km on highway driving, 550 on round town. Costs bout $80 to fill her up at the moment.

oh for the days of my first car that cost $26 to fill... and that was only 3 years ago!!!

I used to own a Jumbuck, it used to use around 7 litres per 100kms.
The 6 Cyclinder WB I had before that did around 11.5litres to the 100km. The TD 3L Hilux is lucky to use 14 litres per 100kms, that's highway driving!

The Tunna costs about $100 to fill and on the open road i get about 350 k's out of it, and that's sticking to the speed limit too.
