| Re: How much Fuel does your Ute use? I get around 450 on 60ltrs, using premium unleaded, it drops dramatically on reg unleaded & that's highway driving. getting to work & back each week clocks up 700k's so it gets pretty expensive. that's not even thinking about heading down the hill to Perth on a weekend. but the price is worth it, I wouldn't wanna be stuck drivin a 4cyl riceburner.

| Re: How much Fuel does your Ute use? I get about 400kms out of a tank and it costs anywhere between $65 and $90 to fill up depending on petrol prices, I usually average $40 per week for around half a tank because I don't like letting it drop low in case I feel like going for a random drive somewhere. | |

My manual BA gets about 600/650km on the highway out of about the same sized tank, according to the trip computer i'm averaging 12.1L/100km, which could be kinda right-ish, hahahaha, and that includes a hell of a lot of hill driving. Either way it is a hell of a lot more economical than the VT was.

Mind you having a stuffed r rear shocky don't help either. Then I have to pay to fill the Bigger Petrol Guzzler; my hubbys V8 [Still old] 1978 XC which has to run on premium + additive, manual [Not bad on Highway driving] but still uses more than the Crewcab. |

| Re: How much Fuel does your Ute use? My VS is an auto 6, when she was stock I used to get 550 kms out of the tank regularly, without having to worry about how I was driving it. Once the bullbar, lights and mud flaps went on, it dropped significantly to around 400 kms out of a tank (if I'm lucky!). Without the air con I can usually get 450 km's out of a tank, but I really do drive it like a grandma. Have to with the price of fuel up here now ($1.49). Could be worse though - the other's half has an auto 6 VR and he is lucky to get 350 kms out of a tank. Darl if you read this - STOP DRIVING LIKE A D*$#HEAD! ![]() | |
