Question Sticky Clutch?

Gday,
The old HZ Holden Ute has started to get a real bad sticky Clutch, the other day I left my car under the shed, and when I went to start it, and put it in gear, the bloody clutch just stuck there! And When I chage gears, it is really tight... just wondering if this is a sign that the Clutch is about to go?
What do you think?

I found out what this problem was, and got it fixed, the clutch cable was getting too hot next to the genie extractors, and the cable just needed to be insulated properly, it got to the stage when I was driving and changing gears that the clutch would actually get stuck on the floor, so anyone ever has a similar problem, that may be the reason why!
Cheers
Bill
