| Re: Ute OR Tonner I have a ute, but given the oppertunity to buy a tonner I would have gone in that direction.... except on closer thaughts, each has its advantages and drawbacks Tonners: Are more practical, (for povarse me who dont have tub liners) you dont have to worry about the inside of your tub getting dinged about, and you can take the sides off if you've got somthing that wont fit in the tub of a ute!! Tubs: The only REAL benifit I can see is that they are more comfortable to sleep in, and without buying a canopy or raised taunea for a tonner - you can fit taller objects that need to be covered in them... Anyways, thats my thaughts! | |

| Re: Ute OR Tonner I like utes and one tonners!! They both can look good and they both have advantages and disadvantages. But I do like the detachable sides on tonners. Meh... they all pretty much classify as utes. Love em all!!! ![]()

| Re: Ute OR Tonner i like tubs, basically cos you can put stuff in the back when you go away from it and it's covered (grocery shopping etc). both do have their good and bad points though. if you're looking at a really nice paint job on a show ute it's nice to be able to stand at the front of the ute and look down to the tailgate. but then on that.....it's cheaper to respray a tunner. i also have a bad memory of falling off a tray back rodeo when i was young, maybe that's why i go for the tubs. sides to keep me in. lol. | |

I have seen a few of the tub trays having the odd street ute affect, with the subs, air suspension compressors and what not hidden away in the back.... Both kind can be very nice utes... depending on the level of show, work or play... |
