a WB question.

can someone please tell me if i have to get the back of the ute modified at all if i want to put a bumper off of a sedan onto the back of the ute. will it just slot sraight on or do some panel work need to be done? cheers!

from memory the rear bumper from a wagon fits but sedans don't cause of the hinges on the tail gate

WEll ive got a HJ and its got the bumper that goes right across, so its no the orig ute bumper. I thought it was a sedan one, but it make sense about hinges. i dunno, but mine fits ok..

kaz get a bumper from a statesman sedan 1981 or 1982 and it will slot on in the original holes but the hinges do rub the top a bit. but they do look good on the back of ute coz i was thinkin of doing it to mine.

hey yeah all is good will fit straight on i know of people who have put monaro arse end bumpers on and looks fkn sweet hope you get the ute soon

got it, two weeks ago i think. it's loud, it's got guts, it needs lots of TLC. will get there eventually so maybe it wont be so agricultural. as long as it gets to deni this year i don't care what it looks like.
