Ute Flags

G'Day
just a couple of question

first does anyone know of any laws about flying flags in utes say from near the headboard of the ute back???

second does anyone know where i could go and find a smallish bundy rum flag as the only ones i seem to be able to fins on places like ebay are massive

already have my queensland origan flag flying so now i hope there is no law against it

cheers and beers
shannon

Re: Ute Flags

Well technically you can have your entire rear window blacked out if you so choose to.. As long as you have 2 wing mirrors then it should not be a problem in any state but dont qoute me on that..

As for that size flag i would just but a cheap full sixe one and cut it down to suit, then re-sew it so it dont frey..

Quick n easy i reckon but otherwise i fresh out o ideas.. ;-)

Re: Ute Flags

When i had my VU Holden ute it had the soft top cover on it so i use to put flags on mine for a few weeks after going out on a cruize with my mate that weekend.

One flag was a aussie flag and the other was a checkered flag and they were that big it almost went to the back of the ute mounted to the headboard and never got picked up for it. I think if it doesn't cover the back window and you can see out of it i think it was ok but not sure i never got pulled up on it.

I hate hard covers cos now i cant put the flags on my new one but i am looking at it on how i can do it.
