Clearance lights

Hi all,

Well it has come time for me to add some colour to the ute. I was going to go with red/amber down the sides but i have been thinking about clear ones now with red across the back...

So...... I was just asking some opinions on what would look best... Red/amber - clear????

ummm it's not so much a choice of wat you wont to do but wat the law says you can do

amber red = sides (red facing back )
clear- white= forword facing
red= back

QLD and NT (i think) will not alow any other coulerd lights at all..

the ider is that some one can tell wethere your comming (by seeing the amber light) or going (by seeing the rec light )

and put them on a switch on it's own (WA coppers seem to hate utes with lights) this way you keep them off when around town and if they give you a hard time you can say there for show only and just keep a few entry forms from the shows you go to in the ute to prove you enter the ute ...

Thanks Trashman..

Light were to be on a switch no matter what but i be takin everything into consideration when i actually go and put them on.
I wont be goin overboard but i have been given a few ideas on where to put them..

may be if you wonted to put the funky colured ones on ya could wire them to a diff switch to the red amber /red and white ones?? then hide the switch and say they dont work and are for look only...

im haveing the same thoughts as iv scored something like 50 hella LEDs for next to nothing iv got 2 new lightforce 240 and some cool flachers and a stroblights as well ...
who said disco was dead... ha ha ha ha ... all i need now is the shinny ball ha ha ha ha

i think the redamber ones look good but all so just the amber or even the red ones
and trashman is right about where u can put your lights

amber red = sides (red facing back )
clear- white= forword facing
red= back

so clarky r u going to go LED lights and thank u clarky for ur post have a good day mate talk next time

hey mate i liked the thaught what u thaught but how about red and clear just put one red, one clear then another red!!! all round i think it'll look mad but go wif wot u think

Its not what looks good,its what the law allows,got an infringment notice to say they know what lights you can have.

i like all colours but i'm a fan of the clear ones dunno why they just look good but hey it's your choice ultimatly
