Unhappy Boolarra "UTE SHOW"

One of the most un organised ute shows I have ever been too
talking to the whole 12 or 13 utes & owners there they all had different time frames as to when they had to be there...
the judging from what i saw was unfair as alot of people say there vehicles were not looked at
I saw two guys looking at the front and back of my ute but not in the cabin they didn't ask any questions and I won chicks ute
the wait for the awards was damn rediculous
the entry was $10 per ute unlimited BUT you also had to pay entry for the rodeo even if you just came for the show.
I will talk to the organiser Ross McRae and see if i can help organise it better for next year.

Re: Boolarra "UTE SHOW"

we agree with you cowgirl, jen entered (HIKVIL)the yellow chev that was next to you and won b and s pre 89.WHAT A JOKE.She gave the trophy back as she entered best paint, best restored and chicks. As for the entry cut off time and late arrivals still being able to win trophys it makes you wonder why bother making the effort to turn up on time.We are not the only ones with this opinion.

Re: Boolarra "UTE SHOW"

I agree the muster was very poor, weak as diluted water and that's putting it calmly.
I was entered under a catergory that was not even judged and no trophy seemed to exist for at the end of the night.
My ute was not looked AT ALL!! anyway
The organisers should seriously look at improving a lot.
Setting one time for all utes to arrive and sticking to it would be a good start instead having three different times over day.
I contacted organisers Friday night and was told all utes had to be in by 12 midday or ute would not be judged and what a joke that was.

Re: Boolarra "UTE SHOW"

sounds extremely ordinary to me I tried to get information on what time entry cut of was and found it to be 2 pm which is why my self and taurus 2 didn't even bother to fire up as we were more concerned with having to milk at 4pm. maybe some proper advertising as to what time the cut off for utes actually is and not having it advertised at 2pm might see more utes in there but then we probally wouldn't be judged until the cows came looking for me not to mention when the prizes where awarded probally would have had time to kick the judges ar$e$ into gear get judged go home and get milked and come back for the awards annoncement!
sounds absoulutelly annoying for anyone with in coweeeee!
