UTE PEOPLE LET DOWN

Well after braking down at the side of the road after leaving gingin ute muster. I had josh in the ute (woohahaha) with me. We could not beleave the people from the show that went past never even pulled over to see what was up why we were sitting at the side of the road with the hood up. Just the fact that when we convoy places to ute shows we slow down and give people the thumbs up to see if the are ok ute people people in cars what ever is sitting at the side of the road.Any way any one got any coments. The good story is in the thread section called (great mates ) couple of call and within 15 min had about 15 utes on the side of the brand hwy offering some kind of help. Once again thanks to all the people i know who come to help. As i said i will put a carton of bundy on at the next camp out we go to.

Hey Willie, geez i'm startin to feel terrible bout this!! I did have a 7 yr old in the ute who was tired and driving me crazy who i had to get home to feed etc and if there hadn't of been builder and the 3 or so other utes with you i would of stopped for sure. I noticed pigmy and millsy disappear so i called Red to see what happened and when she told me that they had all stopped for you i didn't see how my ute with no tools and a whingey 7 yr was going to help at all. Glad to see you got it sorted though, i kept in touch with Red, she told us what was happenin with it.
Good on all those who helped Willie, you guys are great mates and of all the blokes in the ute scene, Willie is definitely one who would help anyone else in need.....what goes around comes around i guess and this is living proof. Good work people!

Yeah no need to feel bad Sarra, what Willie is trying to say was that it's amazing how many utes went past before Builder or anyone else had stopped to help.

We were on the side of the road for about 20 minutes with the bonnet up and at least 8 utes roared past before Builder and the rest of the crew rolled up.

Geez of all the places and all the states...if i had seen a couple a guys in a ute stranded on the side of the road i woulda stopped!! What more could a girl ask for but not one bloke in distress...but 2!! lol sorry i live on t he other side of the country...damn! knew i shoulda stayed in WA longer

there is no way in hell i can just drive past ppl on the side of the road we convoyed home from deni last year we had 8 utes and we saw 4 or 5 ppl on the side of the road and we stoped for everyone. i just like to think ppl would do the same for me if it was me stuck on the side of the road

spot on shags, im sure the people drivein past would want help if they were stuck, it's not hard to give someone a tow to the next servo or at least pass on a message for someone when you get in mobile reception so that they can get a friend to go get them, even if you dont have any mechanical knowledge, although come to think of it if my missus was driveing by herself i wouldn't want her to pull over for people......just in case
