Getting Ute Ready for a Show/Muster

G'day all, when preparing a ute for a show, what are the most important things to do?

umm wash the ute polish the bull bar if ya have one and same to roll bars clean out the inside of the ute make it look pretty

get the missus to wash the ute / polish the shiney stuff hahahaah
make sure youve got plenty lots rum
don't forget ya flags and cable ties to put flags up at show

You only need three things essentially lachy, a ute, petrol to go in the ute, and rum

If I felt inclined, I would tidy out my Triton before a show. Otherwise- how I had it, how I drove it everyday, is how it would rock up at a show (plus flags of course).
I'm not a believer in having a ute in a shed and just bringing it out for shows, too scared to let it see the light of day!

i use to do the inside out side engine bay some times spend 5 hours + on it but after seen some of the judgeing (i know dont go there) dont think it matters to much anymore but i still clean her up for shows.

put rum in esky, stop on way for ice, make sure have cable ties...... done!

ya dont worry bout clkeanin it unless it a plastic fantastic peace of crap. ya get esky, get rum, ice steaks and fuel and thats it. plus bring yaself. think it might be a wise idea

Cause I usually enter the Chicks category (which means it gets partially judged on cleanliness) I used to give the old girl a top to toe clean, including the engine bay, door jams, side skirts, barwork & muddies. But I'm not as finicky anymore, she's just given a wash, some spit & polish, then off we go....

Fill the tanks, fill the esky, find flags and cable ties behind seat, find swag, drive to show.
Get pissed, drive home next day.
