Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Disappointed with ute musters hi I have got a WB 2 tonner my mum has a WB one tonner and my dad a HX 2 tonner we enjoy a good day out at the Ute muster as well as rodeo's, bull riding extra but after entering in many categories we seem to notice a pattern in the judging our friends and us would like some attention we have unique utes with a lot of home made bits and pieces, we have put in a lot of money and afford. we have been coming to musters for the last 3 years and loving it I am not shy to splash the cash but you need to be more aware that it is easy to loose interest if you don't get recognised we always enter in all categories, but when we see some people walk out with 4,5 or 6 trophies and lots of others empty handed it is hard to keep your chin up when you are 20 years old if the judges could think of some way to aknowge new comers and utes with special features like home made modifications and ad-ons and try to give more trophies or ribbons to more utes this would encourage everyone ( a pissy little ribbon can mean a lot to a 20 year old) regards Casey Jones & Casey JNR streamin an a rollin Last edited by Billy; 28-03-2007 at 18:38. |

![]() | Re: Disappointed with ute musters I go to Ute Musters to Interact with other Ute Owners/Lovers. If I win a ribbon, it's a bonus. Certainly not a pre-requisite to going thats for sure. Most musters I've been involved in, you are only allowed to enter in one category. No cross-entering. So everyone has a better chance. But I know one thing, Just because it hasn't got a ribbon, doesn't mean it isn't good. Cheers Darran Last edited by Darran; 28-03-2007 at 18:47. |

| Re: Disappointed with ute musters Gday, if you dont have a show stopper of a ute, the most likely you wont win. Go home empty handed like 95% of everybody who go to ute musters. And for the blokes who win 5 or 6 ribbons? they are very rare, as in not a ute i have ever seen can win 6 catergories. Go to musters for a beer and to have a good time, try not to be so concerned with the ribbon side of things. Just beacuse you dont win ribbons dont mean you dont have a good ute! Cheers sharpy

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Re: Disappointed with ute musters dont take this as sour grapes but theres not a whole lot you can do to change it. going to the show with expectations is the way you end up dissapointed. just keep at it, the more shows you go to the more well known your utes will become and evetually you may start winning. but until then just go along and take notice of the utes that win, u might learn something.
