Im just wondering what you have to do to your ute to make it country... for the category, country ute at ute shows.

Also is there a difference between a country ute and BnS ute???

To me, a country ute is a ute with a bullbar, uhf, spotties ect....

A b&s ute is a country ute with b&s ball stickers.... not just a random selction of stickers that youve brought, actual stickers from balls!!

Yeah i agree with ya there rough n ready... only difference is the stickers.. and cattle tags or sheep tags in the cab of the ute from bns balls... but its mainly bns stickers from bns balls... otherwise its a country ute..

im slowly doing mine up to a bns rig got a few stickers rollbar and toolbox in the back and my beaut utes member tag hanging off the rear view mirror rusty is too small to be in the back yet lol

To me a BnS ute is not about what it has as far as accessories go, but the fact that it goes to balls.

A country ute is a ute that lives in the country and has accessories neccessary for country driving like UHF, bullbar, spotties etc. If you are in WA you can even get special number plates indicating you are from the country. I still remember our old MB ones (guess that sh*thole Uncle Dave!).

We don't have shires as such, but areas. Gold Coast, Outback, Whitsundays etc.

The Vic government lashes out on Grand Prix, Vic Thoroughbred Country and AFL football novelty plates but doesn't have shire plates.

Actually Laura, I think our plates might have been MA... either way there aren't too many places in WA starting with M that are 45 degrees every day of the year

The utes you see drivin around the city are like that. Most probably they arent country people at all, just some lettuce farmer from the northern suburbs of perth. Try hard wankers like that give us counrty boys such a bad name, fat rum pig wannabes is all they are.
Go for a simple look, the only thing that sets a country ute apart is what the number plate on the front says.
Dont go for the B&S look, its old, and really not that country anymore, B&s balls hardly attract real country people, nowadays its the kalamunda strawberry farmers that go there in their utes with the big ****off aerials not even hooked up to anything, spotties and shit, like they need them in the city. Stay in the city limits Cowboy!
