When i was living in Bendigo I almost hit someone in my laser. The person was standing in front of a car parallel parked on the side of the street so i wasnt aware he was there. I was doing maybe 20km an hour coming up to a set of lights. Lights turned green, went to accelerate and BOOM this idiot jumped out into the traffic to try and cross the road. thankfully ii didnt hit him! my partner has a bullbar on his ute and has hit animals in the past. had a run in with a copper who didnt like his bullbar and the copper asked the stupidist question..."how do you think the roo felt when u hit it? know think how a pedestrian would feel" wot a tool!

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Should 5 posters be banned? people have them for there looks and people have them cause they use them. my brother has one sitting in my shed because we are sick of taking it over the pits And we live in the bush and use it many times with animals coming out in front of the ute. funny thing is we have never been done for it in the city. |

Bullbars are never gonna be banned, the only thing they can do which i think is fair is remove the sharp edges of a bullbar for example having fishing rod holders on the front of a bar, was a good idead when they came out.. The idea tht they have is if a person is hit they should eb able to roll onto the bonnet and up over the roof in need cases, if that happen there most likely dead anyways, or with a ute in the back. but if ppl paid attention to the road rules when in the city and peds didn't walk across roads infront on traffic and cross and the places marked which are safe there would be less of a problem. the problem behind bullbars is always going to be human error of the person hit or driving. i live in the suburbs myself and the coppers look at me funny but i dont hoon, or drive through ped crossing fast infact i slow down coz most ppl wont cross when they see me coming anyways incase i do go through..... we all just need to be careful when driving and peds stay to the marked places to cross roads.

If we all stuck to those rules there would be no pedestrians hit.....pretty simple really......  The thing that really really pulls my chain is pedestrians that cross the road just metres from a pedestrian crossing....and then they're the ones that whinge about getting cleaned up.....
