| Truck Stacks and noise complaints Gday all ive had a bit of a run in with the boys in blue yesterday, they didnt seem to like my truck stacks on a hilux. it has got a muffler in it but is still quite loud. has anyone else had any drama's with the police and fought for their rights etc, i was held up for 45 minutes and he only defected me for noise but didnt put a meter on them or anything. He wasnt worried about no heat sheilds or anything else aka oil leaks, clearence lights, spotties, mudflaps. wat can i do about this, cheers for your advice Will | |

| Re: Truck Stacks and noise complaints Find out your state noise laws, for motor vehicles and then get yours tested and set according to them, if you use a company or rep of some group then you should be able to get them to give you a reciept stating that they are within a certain limit on a certain day, but dont rub it in the coppers nose, that will get you in real trouble... And make sure you make all the noise you can when testing, then they cant touch you...
