Did any one see the 7 news tonight i just heard it on the radio about some one that got killed by a bull bar but i missed the news anyone see it.

NOT SURE I ONLY CAUGHT IT ON THE RADIO SAYING IT WAS ON THE NEWS BUT I MISSED THE NEWS I ONLY THOUGHT OF THE WORST ABOUT THE 5 POSTER. MORE BAD POINTS ON THE TV ABOUT THEM.

Apparantly some bloke coming home from a fancy dress party dressed as a kangaroo got hit by some bloke with a big 5 poster... on Saturday night coming home from roo shooting or a rodeo or something.

it was nothing but typical tabloid journalism, a mitsubishi FM557 truck hit someone that stepped out in front of it, it was alleged the steel bullbar killed him, (firstly the bar was alloy), they don't bother to see the fact that he was hit by a truck with 22 tons GVM and woul've been killed anyway. AGAIN BULLBARS have NEVER been the soul cause of any road fatalities.

There was something on the ABC news tonight, about how a fella how was trying to cross Leach Hwy, got hit by a truck with a bullbar travelling at 15km/h through some roadworks 5 years ago, and how his family was calling for an inquest, as the "independent" research they had done said that if the truck didn't have the bull bar he would have survived.
The truck was one of those 8 ton Isuzu's with a Pantec, and personally, I reckon if you get hit by one of them, you ain't got much chance, bullbar or not!!

oh it must be the bull bar cause a truck wouldnt kill someone...
They need to tell the livestock and animals that, they only get killed because of the bullbar, not because they walked out in front of a vehicle...
How about the child killed earlier this yr while leaving school, got hit by a car at less than 10 klm's an hour and no bar what so ever...its not the bar its the fact they are hit, full stop...I stress when my son rides to school on his bike and its not wether a vehicle has a bar of sorts, its the shear fact that it takes very little at all to hurt someone...
Maybe they should ban cars, trucks and motorbikes...hey what about banning people all together, cause they are the thing that are driving these things...and while we are at it we should ban food cause it makes us fat...
Un-educated idiots are more of a problem, that accounts for 90% of the worlds population, and top of the list would be pollies...lmao...

Well the funny part of the gov wanting to ban BULL BARS is that i used to muster and cook for a guy in Licola vic and i had to do a big lunch up for him and keating coz he was coming up to talk about gov things. And he arrived in a fancy car but his body gards were in 4x4s with big bars on. When i asked the guy why he had them on and they were trying to ban them his reply was just incase we have to hit something. GO FIGURE
