bloody cops

ok i was just wondering how many of you out there get hasstled by the cops in your state and do you think that it is fair i have one cop here who hates bns utes and it seems he does nothing but pick on me and half the time i havent done any thing wrong (last 2 times i was going to get food) and this really annoys me no one has the balls to put a report in on him but his luck is over i am in the process of it now and just wondering how many more of you get pulled over and if so how often/????

yea the cops round here are pretty hard on the B&S utes. I dont get much trouble coz i drive a street ute but my mates get hassled a fair bit for no real reason, especially if they happen to be down the street at night (which is generally just to buy smokes)

no effence to the b/s people but when you have big bull bars,stickers all over the car,stacks, loudness and mud and crap all over the car you will attract the police. and they will do a RWC, some cops hate good looking cars and some like them, but it will always be split down the middle. and plus its the easy way for them to make money for the policemans ball!

you just have to put up with them! cheers.

yeah mate they can be a bit of a hassle round here in wa specially the city. i tell ya here in wa you gotta have some balls to drive a rusty feral ute with stickers and dodgy things mate cos the coppers have field days with our feral utes unlike some other types which are still reasonable

Can't agree with some of the comments about the cops if have owned and driven BnS style utes most of my driving life and have had no more problems with the cops than when i had street cars. [VB i have seen alot of very dodgy street cars around] If you keep your car/ute in good mechanical condition you will not be harrassed my ute has over 500 hundred stickers on it a some of them are very politically incorrect,bullbar,spoties on the rollbar and bullbar and i have only been defected once in the 12 years that i have had this ute and that was for a broken windscreen,broken indicator lense and a blown globe all things that i should have had repaired when they broke instead of being slack.And yer there is cops in every state that just love to harass you because they can.If you think that they are just screwing you around ask for there badge number take down there rego and note the time that you were stopped and report them.If the police do pull you over and want to do a RWC I MAKE A POINT OF FOLLOWING THEM AROUND to see what they are doing i also make a point of asking them what there qualifications are ie are they trained mechanics and once again i will ask for there badge numbers

I'm not too sure bout the bns utes in Kal but i def know that the street utes/cars get targeted on a regular basis! Its all good the boys have just learnt to have adjustable springs! So when they get a canary for too low...They lift the springs, take it over the pits and then lower them again!

must be fortunate down here, dont seem to have any probs, the guys i know in feral utes seem to be left alone... and my ute is extremely low and have never had a prob, but i agree with rumsup, I always ask them for their badge number if they not wearing it and ask questions(but havent been pulled over for years...touchwood!))

I dont think that half the cops actually know all the road rules, so the ones that they do know is what they look for.

One thing I have noted, be nice to them... they maybe arses, but that arse'll put yours off the road. I've known blokes in nearly stock cars to get defected for minor things for being cheeky!!!
