Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Should Police wear the costs if a BullBar passes the pits should the police have to wear the costs if you get stickered for a legal BullBar , I think they should if they can't even understand there own laws

| Re: Should Police wear the costs if a BullBar passes the pits see my old man is a coppa and he mentioned to me that if he saw me driving down the road, he would't o me for the bullbar unless i was doing something stupid, because there are so many diff bars out there the slightest difference in the gap between the centre post and the two next to it can change whether it is legal or not. he said most cops would look out for our utes and if we dont indercate then they do us for all they can.... as with most of the law open to each police thoughts, J-walking for example some cops with do ya for it, tohers couldn't give a crap about it.. really depends on the person.. so i guess what im trying to say is, just because they think our bars are illegal it could be what they were trained on 15 years ago. then the laws change and they just happen to see the old laws in there mind..... i guess it's something we have to wear if were gunna put our utes out there with all this shit on it, and try push the limits...

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Re: Should Police wear the costs if a BullBar passes the pits I've actually had a beef about this sort of thing for years. Why can a policeman/woman put a defect on my car/ute for something that COULD be illegal and takes a trained engineer to assess? Why can cop who isn't trained as an engineer decide that my vehicle is not engineered properly but the same vehicle presented to an engineer may be deemed roadworthy? I still have to wear the cost of an inspection even though the original supposedly defective part(s) may have been found not to be defective. In a fair world the other party would wear the cost........but I learnt a long time ago that theres no arguing with a badge or a bloke in a white shirt........they're always right.......even when they're wrong.....

| Re: Should Police wear the costs if a BullBar passes the pits see thats a true factor it should have anther step in it, instead of a straight sticker on the window it should be written a report of what the copper thinks is wrong and gives us a certain time frame to get it checked out,if it's a defect we pay and then do what is necasseray to rectify it, or if there wrong and it';s not a defect the force can take price of the inspection.. that would allow i think a more fair way of getting thinggs sorted

| Re: Should Police wear the costs if a BullBar passes the pits Bullbars Vs Police? Its a hard thing Some cops love the utes some cops hate them. I pass cops all the time with bullbar and all running lights lite up and dont get a look at but then u get over utes get draged over the coals for it. Its a hard thing one day a cop looks but then the next one does u over. U cant win with it.
