March 2007 Newsletter (Please Read)

Please read about recent changes, upcoming events and some exciting stuff happening on the site!

As most of you are aware, the 2007 BU AFL Football tipping competition starts this Friday, and I am once again starting a BeautUtes.com AFL Tipping Competition … this year with much better prizes as well as cash prizes!

Last year we only had 26 members in the competition, mind you the entry fee was $46 then, and now this year the entry fee is only $25 …. But the prizes are much better.

2 x $95 tickets to the 2007 Deni Ute Muster, 4 x BeautUtes.com gift packs, consisting of Polo Shirts, Flags, Stubby Coolers, Cowtags, and Stickers…. But so far we only have 21 members in the competition, and weekly prizes of Member Cowtags.

If we get under 25 entrants in the competition, then unfortunately I will be calling the competition off … I would have thought that with a member base of 2500 people I would have no worries getting 25 plus entrants, especially with the added attraction of winning the 2007 Deni Ute Muster tickets.

The Member Cowtags arrived the other day, and I would just like to thank everyone who has sent payment for their Cowtag, Polo Shirt, Flag and Stubby Cooler orders.

There was a bit of a delay in sending these orders out, due to my Mothers recent Stroke which she is slowly recovering from, improving on a daily basis… thanks to everyone’s well wishes and messages and especially to our Venezuelan Member “Octiris” for her daily Prayers! Thank you so much Octiris…. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Troy Dann, let me know so we can get an autograph for Octiris, as she is a huge fan of Troy Dann from Outback Adventures.

The Cowtags have been a huge success, so for those who have missed out I am planning on getting a new batch of Yearly and Member Cowtags.

The new Yearly Cowtags will this time be numbered from 101 to 200 and if they sell out, and then I will get 201 to 300 and so forth.

I am still waiting on payment on Cowtags for those who have reserved them. If payment for the Cowtags is not received by 1st May 07 I will then make those Cowtags become available again to members who missed out. If you think you won’t be able to make payment by the above date, please just let me know, it won’t be any problems at all.

Unfortunately due to recent events I have not had any time to get the February or March Online Ute Muster going, so come April I plan to get it started again … when this happens, I’ll let all know on the site…. If I find the time, I will try and get the comp going again this weekend… it will be a bit different to make up for the last few months I have missed, so I am thinking 2nd and 3rd place getters will also be awarded Ute of the Month for February and March.

Lee Forster has informed me that his song Drinkin Bone has just been released on Country Music Channel (CMC) Foxtel ... and one of my BeautUtes.com Flags is in the first scene!
