South Australian Country Music Festival

The South Australian Country Music Festival is held throughout the Riverland from June 2nd to June 12th.
The SA Country Music Awards will be held from the 9th - 11th June 2006 there will be 12 sections held over three days in four Venues. Winners of all Sections will compete for the SA Award of Excellence at the SA Sunday Spectacular on Sun 11th June at the Riverland Field Day Site Barmera
The South Australian Country Music Festival & Awards is the Biggest and the most Prestigious of its kind in the State.
New and Young Talent is discovered every year and Presentations will be made at the South Australian Awards Concert on Sat 10th June in Bonney Theatre Barmera - for Bookings please phone Barmera Travel Centre on 08-85882289,
Known as the "Friendly Festival" it also boasts a Country Music Hall of Fame and a Hands of Fame Park.
The SA Sunday Spectacular is another highlight with the beautiful Riverland region as a backdrop to the day long show. National artists along with the best South Australian talent will appear at some ninety shows over ten days in twenty venues.
The month of June is the perfect time to visit the Festival with days spent in the winter sun that filters through and crisp cool nights in warm cosy Venues.

yep, I'll be at this one, love country music festivals, have done Tamworth, & Corryong, now it's Barmera's turn, goes all week,.. plus a ute show !!...woohoo !!

CG - i've gotta be up north of Wentworth SAtdy night for a birthday bash, but was thinking about ducking up to Bamera friday night(prolly stay in Berri at a friends place) and maybe do the uteshow Satdy before making tracks. Be god to catch up again.
