I learnt manual in 6 wekks, I was struggling to get my step dads old toyota moving, he got out said if i could get to the gate it was mine.
All 3 of my cars are manual, it was hard trying to find an old holden ute with manual, I was about to settle for an auto and get it converted

a few of my friends learnt auto cos its all there parents had, thanks to some backroads and my old pulsar they quickly learnt

id probly say auto but i just cant be botherd drivin a manual

manual all the way, if auto was any good why dont they use it in the V8 Supercars?

Auto has it purposes like in an abram tank or other heavy armour vehicles where u dont have time to change gears but in a ute i reckon manual all the way and it should be law to learn to drive a manual so u get the feel for the car

yeah my WB is also 4 on the floor, I love watching people try to get it into reverse

i agree with ic cold vs. auto's are good when you get sick of clutching in a manual

My ute is an auto which is great on along drive, but cuttting up in a manual is so much more fun!

manualised autos are the best....

lol... iv owned manual and auto cars... my ute now has stage 2 shiftkit.... juat like driving a manual but without the clutch, lol... shifts alot quicker, and is definatly more fun the a manual or auto....

but after driving it, i doubt verry much that i could go back to a standard auto... there crap....

but out in the bush and long drives nothing beats a manual
