I think it all depends on the club and its members as to the level of bitchyness, whining and complaining. A club can't generate the bitching, only members can do that.

My experience in ute clubs - BeautUtes included - is that the hissy fits and minor spats happen online but once you're out a shows, events or cruises everyone is friends because its a face-to-face thing and everyone wants the group to be seen in its best light. Which is a great thing about forum based groups, there is no heirachy of sorts to have to climb up like land-based clubs.

Because most of our image is portrayed online and we all are nice and welcoming people, I think BeautUtes will continue to flourish as a group no matter how many or how few members we have.

must say billy, i am sort of relieved you have decided to keep things the way they are. i think its all working well as is.

I think it'd be a great idea to get people to pay $50 to join the site, but why don't the members get behind Billy by buying whenever he gets something new in. If all the members did that, it'd be better than paying a one-off fee. I'd be keen to buy a flag aswell if you got them made up aswell.

Thanks but the site will remain free! I dont want it to go to shit or arguments to happen, I am happy with the small bunch of 150 or so dedicated members.

Thanks but it wont be happening mate ... the site is already an unofficial ute club... thats the way it will stay as there is already plenty of great ute clubs around.

maybe so that this site may not be a uteclub officially but has anyone thought that maybe there could be a national ute club that could be official and being run by the state presidents of the ute clubs around australia???

its only a thought shoot me if im putting my idea the wrong way to people but you could have that even if its not related to the site, but their could be a national calender that can be made with the ute shows and rodeos and stuff like that for people that do not have access to the internet like most of us do!!!

i know that a few people who get into this site do not have the net they can only get on when they get the opportunity to access it!!

yeah depends on how big the fee is and if it's a once off fee or yearly fee.

but after reading a few post i guess it really is a ute club in it's own way..

just read your update that says NO, i kinda feel like i'm part of a club now on here anyway even if it is a cyber club. I'm a newbie and lovin it anyway. (even if i dont know how to put all the fancy stuff on my profile haha) i just found out and now that i've edited this it should be here. (knowing my luck it didn't save haha)
