Whats the best make? Holden or Ford - Page 23

Lots of really decent old holdens and fords out there. Had a HR sedan drove like a boat and the timming was always an issue but loads of room a beautiful interior, loved it. Now drive HQ ute V8, but I'd go a LJ Torana, HG or HT wagon, ek or fb ute, XY or XP sedan. What about chargers, a rambler, 57 chev. JUST TOO MANY HOT CLASSICS!

I prefer Ford because they are built to last. Holden are OK but they are overrated and they are just a badge that everybody likes it is merely like brand names. I can rely on fords which is why I had fords because Holden just doesn't have the reliability I am after in a car. Holden are more heavy on the juice and and generally don't last as many K's as a Ford.
Holden are also more expensive to buy and I find fords to be much better value as they last longer and are cheaper to run and in my opinion they also look better.

holden are great,also fords are great, i've had holden and i've had fords and why i drrive a ford now i needed a ute with enought room in the cab a stright through chissie and looks great,and ford was the first australian ute in australia.and a few are still around so holden will never outlast ford

Holdens by far! Never had a prob with any of my holdens but the first ford i had was useless. It was in an out of the shop more times than i knew what to do with. The day i sold it was my happiest hour! Holdens last longer no matter how hard you drive them! They are more solid and more reliable and just like the ads say only holden has that firm thud when ya shut the door! People also say you pay more for a holden: Thats right if you want something safe and decent you will pay for a holden. And dont give us the shit about fords look better.......Ya blind they not.

Holdens are Australia and Ya Not True Aussie If Ya Dont Have One!
