i reckon its a s*#thouse idea what with the utegate argument whatever the hell that was about and the north south pipeline which there awas alot of controversy about and supposedly cancelling bns balls whatever that was about so i dont think he'll be all that popular

You're really going to hold Kevin Rudd personally responsible for canceling B&S balls? I'd be willing to wager that that man has no idea what a B&S ball is. That decision, or the push for that decision would come from a long way down the line. Anyway, off topic. I think it would be a brilliant piece of publicity for him and his party to attend Deni. Even without the ute-gate business, I thing it would be a great gesture in acknowledging the significance of the ute in Australian culture, and also the kind of recognition that the organizers of Deni deserve for creating an event of that scale. With the tongue-in-cheek humour element added of taking the actual "Rudd ute", well, that's just tops. Imagine having a prime minister that's a funny bastard too. What a great country!
