Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone else does target or competition shooting at all. And if so where? I compete in .22 target shooting at 2 ranges in Melbourne, Little River and Springvale.

i do target shooting, but with the shotgun and occasionally skeet...i shoot at seymour, greenvale (kilmore) and ballarat (occassionally).

I do full bore target shooting. using my .223 with ranges from 300 to 800 yards. I shoot at the range in Jamestown S.A.

i do big bore comps here in millmerran qld with a barret m99 .416

ye i do a bit of target shootin mainly wit a .243 but also do a fair bit of pistol aswell! got a new 300win magnum comin soon!! i shoot at beaudesert ne gold coast pistol club

Sounds good... Anyone do a bit of hunting? I know hunters don't give away their spots, but anyone got any hints for some good areas?

yea i do up here in qld and usually head morven or emerald way but as for victoria id probably guess up around tangambalanga

Do bit of hunting myself Dont shoot targets often is to costly
Mainly use'n my .308 pigs deer ect also do bit of culling on permits for farmers
headn out monday chase bunnies if weather holds

I havent been out hunting for a while havent been able 2 find anymore properties to shoot on, last 1 i had sold up n same old story new owners either dnt approve of shootin or dnt wanna let any 1 on 2 do it! pain in the ass realy

I do range shots with a 5.56mm (.223) semi-auto/auto F88SA1 rifle with a x1.5 optic at 300m with a spread of 75mm for 6 rounds

100m x 20 rounds = 110mm grouping

I have been shooting since I was 6 years old, taught by my dad, on farms and stations all round WA hunting goats, roos, foxes, wild dogs, and rabbits Am a member of SSAA and numerous other WA clubs, am also competing in benchrest, rimfire, centrefire, open class and B grade clay targets. Currently own a .22 Savage, .22 Hornet, .243 Winchester (custom made), under/over Morrocco Shotgun, and am in the process of aquiring a Remington 700XCR (custom made), and getting my father's .308. I also do all my own reloading and cleaning. I think it's a great sport even though most of my family doesn't agree with a girl owning guns. I like meeting new people at the clubs and finding out about new products as well as having a great weekend camping out bush too.

i do IPSC, You know what that is??

Stands for International Practical Shooting Confederation,

Its the comp version of the American Police training, if that makes sense,

its heaps of fun(kickin down doors, shootin from cars ect)

mainly use a Tanfolgio 9mm semi auto, Smith and wesson 686 .357 and i just got a STI trajan 9mm single stacker!!

I compete all round Aus, Mostly in Vic, Yea and Eildon,

do a heap of rifle shootin, got a few 22's, shotty's and a Remington 7615 .223 pump action!

I am planning a trip to a little place called Bullfinch in WA about 450 km east from Perth. Suposeddly a problem there with wild dogs and I am told you come across feral camels and donkeys there too. Better bring the big gun for this trip !!
