Perth Radio station discriminates country people!

This morning my friend was listening to 92.9fm radio and they had a program called "White Trash." Bout 7am this morning.

When a female radio announcer said (quote) "When I see people driving around with longhorns on their cars, I think White Trash!" Did any of you hear it and what do you think?

if it was heard just post a weblink for people to protest via email. im sure she will say sorry. or she wont work any more. i hear radio djs and i hear white trash

That's a typical "city person" reaction to anything that resembles country.
Most of the music they play on that station is white trash anyway so I never listen to it.
Maybe we can get a group of utes with longhorn stickers on them to converge on the radio station and prove to them that we are not white trash. Just wait until the new year though so I can be there as well.
Or you could go to their website 929 - Home and send them an email.

I'm an old fart as well and usually listen to 96FM which is 100% better than the other station.

Yep I'd go with that idea! Obviously she isnt familiar with the "If you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all".
