Deni Ute Muster 2009

Just wondering who is going to Deni ute muster this year??
Who's been in the past and how has it been, what are your thoughts about it or are you over it??
What was your first muster like?

This is going to be my first Deni Ute Muster, am so pumped even though it's a while away.. each time it's been on I've been working.

Any one on here got some talent, they are looking for buskers hey, now that could be interesting. The artist they've got so far sound pretty good

.

So who ever's going it'd be good to meet you, has anyone brought tickets yet or leaving it for a littler later?

MOrnin' All!

I'm heading down this year for sure!

Last year was my first Deni... didn't know what to expect... I'm a city boy with a country girl friend and best mate, so i've been converted pretty well.

They announced pretty loud last year it wasn't going to be the last, and based on the turnout, it'd be stupid to stop it any time soon.

Oh definately it'd be so stupid to stop the muster was so annoyed when the rumour was going around last year saying it was the last one .. can't wait to go this year am so pumped. Don't know what to except though lol!! Should be good!!

ill be going its just up the road, and i know from bein basically a local that they wont stop it. It just brings too much money into deni and surrounding towns, including here in echuca and all the shop owners love it.

The rumour started was nothing but crap and spread like wild fire. The ute muster continues to grow with more ute driving events this year. I know as I'm running them again. I have ran circle work since it started 2 yrs ago and the go to wo last year as well. This year we are introducing another event!!! The only thing that may not be continueing is the guiness world record count. However that will most likely continue and is probably the original source of the rumour. The shire are building a museum up there with plans in progress to be built in the shape of a ute. So from what I see in the Deni office the enthusiasm of the team is always high with John Lou Annie and the whole team working as the true professionals to put on an enormous event. Doing this is hard and to recieve minimal complaints proves the formula is a success. The muster pumps alot of money into the community and helps various charities along the way. Whilst there are ute driving ute loving and country music enthusiast around - SO WILL DENI! I know it will see the 20 yrs and beyond as the ute scene has grown massively in the last 5 yrs. KEEP UTEIN" AND KEEP DOIN' IT IN DENI!!!!!!!!

After last year I won't be back. Some wanker threw a butane gas canister in my campfire while I was asleep. When it exploded it covered my ute, my wife and myself in hot coals. Jemima suffered a few burns, and I got a couple of beauties down the side of my face. My ute got about fifteen holes burnt thru the tauno cover, my swag had holes in it thru to the mattress and also left a big black mark on the back bumper where the canister hit it. I sat up waiting for a cop for about 2 hours on Sunday morning but didn't see any security at all. On the Monday when I got home I emailed the story and my pics to the organisers and haven't heard squat from them.

Long story short: I won't be back......ever........

Hey mate. I sympathise with you ay. I had heap of stuff stolen at my first deni however nothing could be done bout it. As you would be aware event organisers can't control in your words a wanker doing what he did. That stuff is seriously stupid and dangerous!!! Fortunately you only got minor injuries as that could take an eye out or any thing. I will chase this up for you! Who did you email there? I know them all as I co-ordinate the driving events and am willing to bat for you with this. Dunno what could be done? Obviously the culprit wouldn't come forward but they may do something to compensate you. call me and I will get some more info privately. You have my number here!!!
