Really, unless you were there you can't accurately comment on an event.

Deni had something for everyone whether you are from the country, city or halfway in between. There were more utes, more people through the gate than ever before. On the same hand there was a bigger variety of music and other entertainment, more entries in the show n shine... all with less reported incidences of trouble and violence. There was also a lot less reporting of people being hassled by the Police - in fact most who were there seem to be reporting the best relations between the Police and public ever.

The only negative comments I've heard or read are from the same people that whinge and complain year after year after year.

At the end of the day, Deni (like any other event) is what you make of it. If you want to have a good time... you will have a good time!!

the cops were pretty good this year (except for the time they did the full roadie on the bloke that did the burnout), they do a good job of keeping the peace (they still annoy the s**t out of me!)

I drove all the way from WA to get there. It's good. Better if you know some people there, but you make friends easy, that's if your willing too.

Theres always stuff going on, people to meet, drinks to drink, things to buy, utes to look at etc.. So i'd recommend that you try the trip.. it's not as far for you if it's bad as it is for me =P
