SE Melbourne to Deni

Ok who from Vic is going this year to the deni muster.

Can anyone think of a good place where we could all meet and then travel to deni in convoy from there? and how many of you would like to go on the convoy?

At the moment looking at leaving Cockatoo around midday, up through Seymour, Shepparton and then Barmah. Any one interested is more then welcome to tag along

Looking at Leaving Cockatoo at about 1 on Thursday, heading to Seymour, waiting around there for a lil bit so some more can jump on, leave there around 3ish, Seymour to Shepp leaving Shepp at about 4 then heading to Barmah about 415 reaching the outskirts of deni by about 5-515 in time for a pub meal n a drink....and to evenly share the grog out amongst the mates n make sure its nicely hidden before headin in early friday mornin

Atm, we're lookin like leaving Cockatoo at about 11, and getting to Seymour at the Royal Hotel (Goulbourn Highway, also next to burger stand and, at about 1pm, then heading on the Show Grounds on Benalla Rd Shepp (aka High St or the Midland Highway)...planning to reach there at about 2-3, then onto Deni via Barmah for a pub dinner, then head into the grounds on the friday morning, will need to work out own camping arrangements however.

If anyone has anything different that they'd like to share, please do.....

i'm heading off on thursday morning from korumburra.probley about 8 am.should get there early pm,probley set up camp at caravan park just a cross river.i fine it's close to everything.cary+crickey_

This sounds like a good idea, I am going that way anyway as I'm from Mooroolbark its the quickest way to get to deni and you can avoid going through the city. I went up to deni over the weekend that way and it took about 3.5 hours from Mooroolbark with a stop in Shepp.

Probably 18 uhf channel. Thats pretty common for utes or 40
