WA to Vic fuel prices

G'day all again,

Well i made it home, sorry for the late post but have been chasing cows, electicity and water since I got back! End story; 30 hours, 42 minutes & 18 seconds drive time over three days from Morley in Perth to Nathalia Northern Vic. Didn't even speed too much (unless rounding up grey nomads!! Frustration plus), sat on 114kph apart from towns and while waiting to overtake.
Figured this might help anyone trying to get an idea of where to fill up or if you're real keen you can figure out the averaged increase in price since the start of the month and scale the following prices upwards accordingly.

Ute is a 3.6l Holden Ecotec with 5speed manual and had about 350kg payload of my stuff.

All prices are unleaded first and then diesel.

Day One (02-09-08)

BP Morley - $141.9
Merredin - $159.9
Bodalling Liberty - $155.5
Southern Cross BP - $159.9, $170.9
Coolgardie Caltex - $162.9, $182.9
Other Servo - $160.5, $180.5
Norseman BP - $167.0, $178.8
Caiguna - $195.5, $207.1
Cocklebiddy - $196.9, $208.8

Day Two (03-09-08)

Border Village - $ 189.2, $210.5
Nullabor R'house - $ 191.9, $207.9
Nundoo - $159.9, $170.9
Penong - $159.9, $171.9
Ceduna - $162.9, $173.6
Wundinna - $158.9, $ 170.9
Kyancutta - $165.9, $182.7
Kimba - $163.9, $177.9

Day Three (04-09-08)

Orroroo R'house - $162.5 (sorry forgot diesel, was still early)
Peterborough Caltex - $154.9, $ 170.9
Burra - $154.9, $170.9
Eudanda - $150.5, $160.9
Mildura - $147.8, $159.4
After this i diverted off to Ouyen to catch up with a mate on the way through. But after Mildura you can make Echuca in 4 hours if you're crusing slow. From there 70k's or so northward to Deni.

TOTAL K'S - 3501 (including to Ouyen then back on track at Swan Hill)
DRIVE TIME - 30.42.18seconds
FUEL USED - 5 & 1/4 TANKS (367.5l)
AVERAGE L/100K'S - 8.1L

Kinda a spew, was a bit lighter when I moved over to WA and she ran 7.5l to the hundred, but for about an extra hundy of weight am pretty happy with that.
