Kulin Bush Races 30th Sept, 1 & 2 October 2005

Just wondering if any Western Australian BeautUtes.com members are interested in attending this fantastic event, Kulin is only a couple of hours East of Perth, and is a great event with quite a few Ute People who attend.

If you are interested in going just vote yes in the poll and organise it from there! I wont be going to this, cause I'll be still out at sea!

Welcome to the 11th Kulin Bush Races

The community of Kulin welcome you to the country event of the year to be held on 30th Sept, 1 & 2 October 2005. The famous Kulin Bush Races provide a great weekend packed full of fun for the whole family.

The Kulin Art, Craft & Photography Exhibition, Competition and Sale of Works is open all weekend at the Freebairn Recreation Centre in the centre of Kulin. Join us for tea on Friday night (courtesy bus from the track), drinks and live entertainment. Auction proceeds to Royal Flying Doctor Service. The cost of entry will be $5.

Saturday morning is the gymkhana followed by the horse races which are held at the picturesque Jilakin Race Track overlooking Jilakin Lake and nestled beneath the shadow of Jilakin Rock. The races toghether with gymkhana, novelty events, children's entertainment, live music, fireworks, great food and friendly country hospitality all make for a wonderful weekends entertainment.

With sunny spring weather (and a wonderful season) a good crowd of aproximately 4000 people visited Kulin during the 2004 Bush Races weekend.

Join us on Sunday morning for the Great Aussie Revival Breakfast.

Pack your swag, tent, caravan, ute (and don't forget your partner) and join us for a fantastic weekend, camping is free at the track Friday and Saturday nights!

I go to the Kulin Bush Races every year. It is a really great weekend. Not too sure if I will be going this year though. Landor Races are on the same weekend and I have always wanted to go to them. I have heard it could be the last Landor Races meet and if that is the case I am gonna have to make the trip north to fulfill part of my "To Do" list.
