Fundraiser for kids with Cancer and other serious illnesses

In 2003 a close friend of mines nephew was battling with Leukemia, he was 7 years old.

As we all belong to the WA Police Service (along with his father) who annually conducted a head shave to raise fund for kids with cancer, we decided to get the town of Jurien Bay WA involved.

The young boy unfortunately lost his battle 2 weeks to the day of our head shave, so we dedicated it to him. His father and then uncle being the first to loose their locks.

I am now committed to annually raising funds for the Bluey Day foundation - kids with cancer and other serious illnesses.

This year we are having a Car & Bike Show and Ute Muster in Tom Price (where I am now located) along with constant fundraising for the month of September. I wish to raise $10000.00 for the kids.

I myself have healthy kids but there are many out there not so lucky.

Remember: Death and Illness knows no age limit.

vic if there is anything i can do give me a ring on 0408513907. I to have lost a child not to cancer but of a vacination we all give our children called the hib one in a 1000 can get it and i was the unlucky one it just about killed me to have to make the chose between my child or me it was death for one of us. So to help anyone out to do with kids i am more than welcome.

I hope you reach your limit or even go further its a good cause well worth something to fundraise for, my best friend lost her 13 year old cousin to luekemia last august it was the hardest day for all of us

Thanks, unfortunately our day was not as successful as we would of liked, but we did change a few things on last year. Big learning curve - looking forward to next year now.

However - every little bit counts - I am still raising funds until end of September.

hey vic u said u raise money for bluey day i find it hard to find any one that sells bluey day stuff over here if u know where i can get it or even sell it contact me on 0424476056 thanks and good luck with the fundraising
