Im trying to get to a rodeo on the and ive been offered a lift by a gorgeous guy who i know but my parents dont. Ive told them the rodeo is on and that im probably gunna get a lift there but thats all. they might end up going too, shuld i ask them or just leave it??? i really wanna go...

if theyre not going grab the lift. depends on your age but if your young come clean to them

yeah it really does depend on your age.. my olds would probably think Im weird if I told them coz Im old enough to make my own decisions (actually thats what they have always done).. everyones different though..
It's only a lift so they may not mind.. as I said everyones different

Hrm.. I think your best option is to tell them. I'm 15 and i remember goin out without telling my mum and ended up in a car accident! She was so worrried and never knew i wasn't at my friends house. I'm not sure i don't no how strict your parents are. But at least if you tell them they no what your doing. I never lie to mum anymore. And she seems to trust me and let me do more things now that i'm honest with her.

Tell your parents they might surprise u .
At least then they will now how to find all the body parts if something happens to you.
I let lisa go to a ute show with someone she didnt know once and most know how that ended up lol

I'm a parent & i'd want to know enough details so's to be ok with whatever your plannin'. I'm guessing they may not be happy with what your thinking of doing, cause of your poll.

I reckon that you tell them and when thi guy come to pick you up have him knock on the door and meet your parents but be prepared that they will want to talk with him for a while... the way to get around this is something like we would love to stay and chat but we are running a little late and we wouldnt want to speed so we will have to get going now... that way they cannot say they havent met him and he looks responsible and you are in the good books because you didnt lie to them to start with

If they're going, say to them ur getting a lift with a bloke, but send them the blokes numberplate and phone number and if they dont see u there, then they can start to worry.

I used to sneak out heaps, but it got to the stage mum and me would both know I wasnt doing what I'd say I was. After a while I'd tell her and that if she tried to stop me I'd still do it, but at least she knew. Now she knows basically everything, cant say she likes it, but at least if something happens to me (touch wood), she can tell the cops which bloke to go after lol. Thats what she reckons anyway ahaha.

or the other option is to let ur mum ring the person u want to go somewhere with and have them convince her that u r gonna just have good clean responsible fun

i always told my parents where i was going and stuff.. well the friday night i would tell them. mum would ring me and ask me where i was on saturday afternoon.. she would say " are you still in WA? and she would ask what time i would be home on sunday night
