I've got my back done with my wife, kids and grandy some other words and a couple of symbols. Both sides of my chest are done and both biceps are done. One sone will become a full arm tattoo.

Right shoulder blade - 2 dolphins forming a love heart, behind them is red hibiscus, behind that is bird of paradise with tendrils going down and out to each side with husbands and daughters name (own design). Am planning on 2nd one but want it on top of foot and wrapping around ankle, which obviously can be hard to cover in summer for work - we'll see bout that one. Always do my own designs for myself and hubby and friends if they want an original design. I know when I design them that they are original and suit our personalities. Drop, if you want one designed for you let me know.

I was dead set for the southern cross but got sick of the idea coz every1 has it, so i thought i might get a gumnut and eucalyptus leaf on my hip coz to me it says australian but not something everyone has.

Also what 2 blue birds, one as the devil with horns, and one as the angel with a halo, holding a necklace with the locket my grandma gave me before she died between them. My parents when I was little gave me lots of jewellry with bluebirds on them, I believe everyone has good and bad to them hence the devil and angel part, and my grandma passed away 2 weeks before my birthday this year, broke my heart, was very very close with her.

Hey Kiki, depends on your pain thresh-hold and where you get the tat. Usually the thinner (sensitive) the skin the more it may hurt and i would liken the discomfort of getting the tat as like pulling the hairs on your arm and sunburn. The outline is the worst bit, the fill not so bad (more needles) But if it's what you want you'll handle it, the other thing is don't go too big first up. If it's the horns you want, try getting a part of it done, so that if you chicken out and don't finish, it wont look out of place. Or get a small tat in an inconspicuous spot first.

im thinking of gettin "Carpe Diem" which is a latin quote meaning "Seize The Day" tattooed on the inside of my wrist. has anybody else gotta tattoo there? just wonderin if it takes longer to heal or hurts much more?

I LOVE tatts!! I only have a southern cross on my right ankle atm, its on an angle like when you look at the constellation. i want an egyptian eye of horus/scarab beetle one next. Go hire Miami Ink from the dvd store, or download it, its fantastic, gives you lots of ideas and shows the kinds of pain people go through.

I am up to number 4 atm.

I have a panther on my left shoulder blade, a rotti on my right upper arm, butterfly & tribal on my lower back and on the left side of my neck i have a butterfly.

Cant wait to get number 5, 6 & 7. LOL
