Re: struggling in life

You, me and everybody else mate....
I was about to file for bankruptcy before I managed to score these jobs here in Wagin- I had the forms filled out and everything. Sometimes life sucks, you just gotta deal with it, but getting a ute isn't everything you know. Trust me... soemtimes they're more trouble than they're worth.
Just have faith in the world, and know that everything happens for a reason, and when it's meant to happen.

mate dont get me wrong, i love my ute to bits, but it is the main reason that i am poor..........well that, and me goin out drinkin and partyin. but i wouldnt have it any other way. so i hope you get your ute mate.

as for a job, dunno about queensland but in wa here there are plenty of jobs goin if your willing to give em a go. Farm workers, labourers, workin on the mines etc.

everyone has their lows and you'll pull through. just hang on in there.

Re: struggling in life

Want a job? I could have one here for you in probably one phonecall.
Driving Tractors, Operating Farm Equipment, Driving Farm Delivery Trucks.
Plenty of decent station jobs going around here too.
No-one can find anyone, as they're all heading to the mines.
Maybe you should consider doing a Mature-Age Apprenticeship. Plenty of options there. And once you're done, you'll have a skill for life.
Employers get good incentives to take on apprentices.
The money won't be good to start with, but you'll be setting yourself up for a while.
I didn't buy my first car until I was 18. Up until then I'd lived in Roma. You can walk across town in an hour or two. And the Bus And Train services went thru daily. Then I moved to Katherine NT. Distances up there were massive, so I bit the bullet and purchased one.
I'd suggest you get a steady income behind you before you consider buying a ute. And If you want to get anything remotely decent soon, You'll be best to get finance.
Even if you start saving a deposit for the finance, that would be a start. They like cash deposits. Less to pay off in the long run too.

Cheers

Re: struggling in life

Hi there, I know pretty well how you are feeling! I am a bit stuck at the moment, I have never been so broke, but the main reason why I am is because of my ute and lifestyle. I know where Im at and where I want to be but its the getting there part that has me stuck! hang in there and it will all work out in the long run, you'll be a better person for it.

Re: struggling in life

I know how it is Ron.
1. Since buying the car i have now, i have spent more than its worth to get fixed up, and im constantly getting it fixed.
2. Since having my new job i may be earning money but ends still dont meet. 3. Having a child leave home and losing their family payment is making it harder and harder for me to get anywhere.
Life isnt meant to be easy, but its surely not meant to be this damn hard.
