| Hey, i have this problem! Im scared to get back on a horse. The story is~~ I was 10 when i was ridding my horse and i fell off. It was quite a bad fall and after that i never got back on a horse. I really want to but havent got the guts to do it. I miss it as most of my mates ride and now i just cant. Im also scared that if i do get back on i will fall off again and i wont be able to ride again. Please help!

| Re: Help!! Well this is kinda a forte of mine, i helped a good mate of mine get back in the saddle on a horse he fell off as a kid, it took some time but it was worth it. I rekon u just gotta take baby steps. Start off by just goin and spending time with a horse on the ground, get yourself reaquainted Then when you feel comfortable with that, find someone who has a really quiet horse that you can tack up, then when u feel comfortable, get on, sit for a second or so then get off. Leave it at that for the day so u associate riding with a good experience then just add little bits on to that each day or once a week, however long it takes, Once you have a good experience in your head you won't want to get off!!! Hope this helps you Trudi, good luck mate!!!
