Sophie Isobel Knight
I changed my name about 18 months ago from Conlan(My real dads surname) to Knight(My mums maiden name which she kept when she remarried) so I think my name is pretty damn nifty now!
I quite like my name even though when I was in Customer Service in Local Government when I'd answer the phone I'd get the most random names such as;
Sonya, Stacey, Lucy..........the list goes on!
To me mates it Soph I hate being called Sophie, it always sound like I'm in trouble! Mum would always say "Now Sophie" and I knew what was going to follow it wasn't good!

Here's a Mouthful for you all; Samantha Hendrika Davin [nee van Geyn]; yep my middle name is dutch as you can see my maiden name is dutch; and Samantha came from the movie "High Society"; not this little black duck; I've definately got working class attitude; and only people like my boss call me Samantha; everyone generally calls me Sam; and that is the way I prefer it.

I can't believe someone else knows the movie "High Society"! I'm one of those dags that loves old movies! Grace Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Audrey Hepburn, Bing Crosby the works! You have made my day!

Sarra Marrie McPhedran (my first name ryhmes with Tara) and yes i have copped the SARS jokes and its funny, both my current boss and old boss call me Sars, strange. I get Sarah about 90% of the time when i tell people my name or when they read it.......i love it when people get it right! Part of my job is answering the phone i say....this is Sarra....then they say oh hi Sarah...how hard is it? Sarah does not sound like Sarra!!!! grrrr yeah names are a pain in the ass!!! Oh and my last name....most people won't even attempt to pronounce it.
