|  Brush With Fame!   Has anyone ever met someone famous,or even half way famous?! Back in the early eighties,while in primary school,we had a visit from Greg Rowe of "Storm Boy" fame  ...LOL....well he was kinda a celeb. back then!!!I have met Bryan Brown...he of the Great Aussie accent! He was filming a movie in Gladstone SA,and my brother was an extra in one of the fight scenes... Wow..now he is a great bloke.  Tell us of your brush with fame! |

Rep Power: 4   | Re: Brush With Fame! Got to meet Slim Dusty after his concert when I was about 17. That was great. Had a photo taken with him. Also meet Adam Gilchrist, Denise Lillie, Don Bradman.... heap of other crickerts as I was on a cricket scholarship. |

Rep Power: 4 | Re: Brush With Fame! -Met "Leah" off home and away... -Pauline hanson (dunno if you call her famous) (Both of the above only from the perks of working as a checkout chicky!!) -Lee kernaghan (he signed loads of stuff for me) -all the crew from the man from snowy river production (signatures and all) -most of the NRL sharkies (step bro plays for em) ummmm -a few authors when I was in primary school..(cant remember their names though) -Big brother winner for 1999 I think (ben something) umm thats all I can think of at the moment ! |

Rep Power: 17  | Re: Brush With Fame! I am so not athletic but I seem to attract athlete's! At least they're in shape! All the eagles (Michael Gardiner picked me up at the hippee club one night!) Went out with Ken Judge's son for about 2 1/2 months.... All the Wildcats.... Used to work at Metros in Freo so hung out with the dockers a fair bit....The band George signed my bra once.... Met Grinspoon when they played in Kal.... Haha! I met the Wolverines! Choirboys... One of my friends use to go out with Kav from Eskimo Joe before they got huge and were still doing gigs on the foreshore at 4pm on a Sunday arvo!

Well, I met the ''Marlboro Man'' (which seemed to be a big thing back then) in Kununurra when I was a kid I went to school with a few guys that are now AFL players I had to house sit my aunties place in Coral Bay with Andrew Vhalhov (who may I add is an absolute pig) Drew Bampfield (great bloke) used to come up there all the time, James Crawford too. The Waifs used to jam with Dad in the shed when they were still unknown So did Courtney Murphy from Aust Idol Dad's band played back up for Paul Kelly in Kununurra |
