I finally got a pair of Ariat Boots for christmas (YAY!!!), & wanted to know of some true & tried methods of breaking the buggers in!

Ariats are comfy as from word go!! Ive had a pair of lace ups for years and years and ive worked horses in em and even worked in retail in em!! MMM Ariats!!! No breakin in needed!!!!

i only wear rm boots all i do is keep them on my feet for a week 24/7 so they mould to your feet all good them there.

I got a pair of Ariats at Isa Rodeo last year and I'm still breaking them in! They were hell at the start. Had to keep wetting them.

They're nearly perfect, but they'll never be as good as my doggers.

i have a pair of ariat ropers that really didn't need much breaking in, but a good trick that i was told to try is wearing them in the shower (actually i just poured hot water over them) and walk around in them til they dry.
it softens the leather and as it dries it moulds to the shape of your foot - sounds a bit odd i know but it did work for me!

when i got my first pair of ariats, i filled em with newspaper, sprayed em with water and let em sit for 2 days. they were perfect after that. all of my ariats have been easy to wear in! my rm williams i had actually got uncomftable the longer i wore em. i dont know why! so i stick to ariats lately!

Sounds all good, but I just can't bring myself to wet brand new boots!!!

The best way that ive been told to break in boots is either fill them up with water and walk around in them for a while, or fill them up with rice and fill them with water (that way you get some grub as well lol)
