GOOD TURN FOR XMAS

I was out the other day in my partners car cause my ute was in the shop and i seen that a couple was just walking away from there ute with a jerry can. So i reversed back in to the side street and said do yous want a lift to the petrol station.so they jumped in we got there i put fuel in the car then i sayed jump in i have got time to take you back befor picking my other half up (she works about 40mtrs from the servo i was at the ute out of fuel was 4 klms away) they were blown away that some one had went out there way like this. So what have you done for a good xmas spirit this year

ah! ya stole my idea for a thread. lol.
every year i go crazy doing the whole xmas baking thing and every year it's a bit of a tradition to give someone that least expects it some bickies, just as a suprise.
i got found out this year though and the person who was recieving them got to me first. a regular customer at work thought he would do something nice for me so i got a bottle of rum before he got his pressie.

funny you should ask, just last Saturday while shopping we were sitting in a car park organising where we had to go next etc & noticed a woman in the car parked in front of us trying to get the bonnet up. she had been trying for 5mins, when I realised what she was trying to do & that she had not been into the car other than to throw in her shopping & purse. So asked if she needed any help. When she mentioned she couldn't get the bonnet open we asked if she had popped the latch. she felt a bit silly at first, but was really appreciative anyway. It always feels nice to help someone who doesn't expect it.

its funney being from the bush when head in the city see some who need a hand you go up and offer the look at you funney most lady hang on there bag a bit harder i pick up a lady and kid once she stuck on the highway i mean stuck her car had broken down on the road everone wizzing past pull up the truck help her push the car too the side of the road not easy on a three lane highway took her too the doctors man never seen someone so scared she said not use too some helping

well i always thought people would lend a helping hand and after making the hr travel to geelong to collect my daughters xmas presants i made my way home in my new and (what i thought was trusty) ute half way home i blew a tyer and then relising i had no spare it started to pour rain no phone reception no spare and the nearest town a good half hr walk away i headed of down the rd to a ncie little country pub only to be laughed at pub shut and i got sent on my way all worried now cos time had passed i was sure every thing would be stollen so i made the long walk back while i waited on the tow truck not 1 car stopped to help or ask if i was ok this made me sad that there are that many people out there that just dont give a shit i finally paid to be towed home with no help from any idiot passing by so tell me why r people so heartless these days?
