Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Re: TIME WASTED BY WA POLICE This is what creates so much debate over bullbars, yes there are laws and just like ever other law they need to complied by, but when those who enforce these laws have differing opinions on whats illegal and what isnt it becomes damn difficult to follow them.

| Re: TIME WASTED BY WA POLICE I know that here in NSW, the police have to follow the laws, but they have the right to over ride the laws if they feel something is unacceptable eg. if a bullbar is "legal" and there is something on the bullbar that they don't agree with or feel it's safe, they can over ride the fact that it's legal

| Re: TIME WASTED BY WA POLICE iv got the guidlins releast the the bullbar manufacturs and it says nothing about leening back10% or any thing about the number of posts alowed ... infact it says bugga all and is quiet open to interpatashon ... this is wat im planing to do if i get uplled up ... 1st see wat the cop has to say as some are cool with the bars ... 2 if he says he's going to sticker it ill get out my manufactuer guidlines and the email from the dpi saying that the bullbar complys 3 if he still wonts to sticker it ill ring the place where i got the bar from so they can tell them it complys 4 if they still wont to sticker it finaly probuse the modifcation permit 5 if he stickers it after that ill take there name and numbers and log a complant.. I dont think the coppers have a vendetter agenst the bullbar but are just lacking the app training and corect infomashon regarding the stlys and wat ok and wat is not ... after reading the laws it's very open to interpatashon ...

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Re: TIME WASTED BY WA POLICE This is not a game of football where interpretations of the law is up to the individual. They have it in black and white and therefore should know weather its legal or not. They have no excuse for pulled you over. If they have read the info (which they all should have) on what is and isn't legal. There are some that just seem to enjoy being complete, I'll let you fill that part out. But there are some real good ones out there to. So we should never tar them all with the same brush. |

![]() | Re: TIME WASTED BY WA POLICE Quote:
A cowboy (Spanish vaquero) tends cattle and horses on cattle ranches in North and South America. The cowboy in charge of the horses, however, is the wrangler. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cowboy Last time I checked, we wern't in America. As Gramps has said, there are good and bad. Like anything really. If you feel you've been hard done by, make a formal complaint, write a letter to the police minister etc. Cheers Darran | |
