Am i askin for trouble?

hey i really really wanna put a massive mofo 5-post bullbar on the fron of my ute and i understand that they are illegal here in WA.

all i wanna know is if its worth doin or whether its just askin for a heap of trouble. west aussies out there that still have 5-posters do you all cop shit for it or do ya get get away with it?

yes its a waste of money and a waste of time. dont get me wrong i love the look but a 5 poster will be more trouble than its worth, cops see it it will mean yellow sticker and then you will have to take it off, granted many put them back on once they get the sticker off, but theres always a good chance that u will get another sticker

i agree, waste of dollars! my partner had a rather large SW Platts bar, and we got stickered for it twice in less that 2 months, even though it was registered in ACT where 5 posters are still legal. So we sold it about 2 weeks ago.

Smaller bars arent too bad, I know of a few people who have had small ones on for ages and never have any trouble, but its not worth the crap for a big one.

I'd say you'd be asking for trouble, and probably making more trouble for everyone else. The cops up there don't take to kindly too them so I'd say you'd be getting a licker straight up

yeah but as well as that im not one that stays around the city life if im takin mine out to the bush as usual id be wantin some type of bar. Just not the poofy ones they think will do the job!

And that is why they have/want to ban bullbars. Because people put over the top dozer blades on the front of vehicles that wander into the territory of totally and utterly stupid and impratical.

i had one on my ute and got bout 5 stickers in as many weeks i never got done for it down in perth it was always in tha bush or gero so i jost got it chopped to a 4 poster now i have no dramas
